Mini's & Juniors Rugby 7's Festival

Would you like to enter your team in this Burry Port Annual Event held over the First May Bank Holiday weekend. For £30.00 secure your teams place.

Sun 30th AQpril 2017 – Juniors: U12’s, U13’s, U14’s & U15’s
Mon 1st May 2017 – Mini’s: U7’s, U8’s, U9’s, U10’s & U11’s

The U12's to U16's is a 7’s format competition, with each age group entitled to enter a squad of a maximum of 12 registered players.

The Mini’s: U7’s to U11’s is a 7's format round robin Festival in accordance with WRU guidelines, with each age group entitled to enter a squad of a maximum of 18 registered players. No player under the age of 6 will be allowed to play in the U7 age category

Schedule & Rules:

Players who are not able to provide their official WRU ID Card on request will NOT, unfortunately, be allowed to participate.

Registration for the Under 16’s will close at 10.30am on the day, with the live draw to take place immediately afterwards, and the first matches to kick off at 11am prompt. It should also be noted that all Referees will be neutral.

Registration for all other age groups u8s to u15s will close at 9.30am on the day, with the live draw to take place immediately afterwards, and the first matches to kick off at 10.30am prompt; this schedule will apply to both days.

Please refer to the Rugby Festival Rules which we would be grateful if you could ensure are viewed by all club coaches, and that all players and parents are fully aware of these rules, in advance of the tournament.

Please note that WRU Pathways Rules will apply and should also be viewed and understood. 

Festival Registration & Fees:

The fee for entering a team is £30.00 per age group squad, with each teams place in our festival being secured on a first pay basis.

Cheques to be made payable to Burry Port RFC Juniors. 

Festival Registration Form must be completed for each squad.

To Secure your teams place in the festival, the Registration fee(s) & Completed Registration Form(s) must be sent to Wyn Morgans, 60 Pencoed Road, Burry Port, Carmarthenshire, SA16 0PW as soon as possible prior to the festival. Your place is only secured on a first pay basis.

General Entrance Fees :

·    Coaches: Free entry 
·    Children: Free entry (for all players and spectators aged 16 years and under) 
·    Spectators (17 years and over): £3.00 per person

Car parking:

This is available on the rugby club site and there is ample parking around the Town.
