Blacks take down the Magpies

Saturday afternoon THE BLACKS travelled to Parc Y Mynydd Mawr in their last away game of the season. With relegation to Division 3 already confirmed the Magpies had only pride to play for against the fourth placed Blacks who arrived in Cwm Gwendraeth fresh from an away win at St Clears RFC the previous weekend. Having made a number of changes to the starting 15 the Magpies started off in positive fashion but saw the Blacks take the lead with an early penalty. Annual Mini's & Juniors Rugby 7's Festival

Would you like to enter your team in this Burry Port Annual Event held over the First May Bank Holiday weekend. For £25.00 secure your teams place. Sun 5th May 2019 – Juniors: U12’s, U13’s, U14’s & U15’s Mon 6th May 2019 – Mini’s: U7’s, U8’s, U9’s, U10’s & U11’s The U12's to U15's is a 7’s format competition, with each age group entitled to enter a squad of a maximum of 12 registered players. The Mini’s: U7’s to U11’s is a 7's format round robin Festival in accordance with WRU guidelines, with each age group entitled to enter a squad of a maximum of 18 registered players. No player under the age of 6 will be allowed to play in the U7 age category Schedule & Rules: Players who are not able to provide their official WRU ID on request will NOT, unfortunately, be allowed to participate. Registration for u7s to u15s will close at 9.30am on the day, with the live draw to take place immediately afterwards, and the first matches to kick off at 10.30am prompt; this schedule will apply to both days. Please refer to the Rugby Festival Rules which we would be grateful if you could ensure are viewed by all club coaches, and that all players and parents are fully aware of these rules, in advance of the tournament. Please note that WRU Pathways Rules will apply and should also be viewed and understood. Festival Registration & Fees: The fee for entering a team is £25.00 per age group squad, with each teams place in our festival being secured on a first pay basis. Cheques to be made payable to Burry Port RFC Juniors. A Festival Registration Form must be completed for each squad. Please register your Club’s interest in entering the festival, by contacting Tina Evans 07793319778 To Secure your teams place in the festival, the Registration fee(s) & Completed Registration Form(s) must be sent to Tina Evans, 13 Ar y Bryn, Pembrey, Burry Port, Carms. SA160AX as soon as possible prior to the festival. Your place is only secured on a first pay basis.
